The portfolio provides a profile of my personal background and
experiences as an artist linked to my philosophy of teaching art + design to
students in secondary school settings. Additionally, for each course in the
program, I provide samples of evidence, which demonstrate my proficiency in
meeting the DCPS Beginning Teacher Standards. Further, beyond the required
coursework, I provide documentation of evidence that showcases my involvement in
community-based teaching and how I have throughout the Program maintained
personal connections to the discipline of art &
design.
