Evidence1: Plays an instructional
leadership role by sharing expertise and ideas, which will enhance programs for
students, teachers and parents.
Context: murals
were created and directed by me with help from the community(students, staff,
and parents)
Reflection: These
mural were created on beautification day. I am the chairperson of the
beautification committee and when I was asked to be in charge or drawing and
help paint the mural, I felt overwhelmed by such a large task in a short time
alone, but I got it done successfully. In the end the experience was rewarding
hearing the rave reviews from the supportive
staff.
Goals: This
mural was not easy and was executed in less than a week. That added much
unneeded stress. Next time this will take a comfortable month to really
brainstorm and make small corrections in the end.

Context: A pep
rally was held to cheer on a promote a positive energry for students to achieve
high on their DC CAS
Reflection: My
good friends Angie ange and DJ Quick Silva of 93.9 radio were more than
happy to host this event to promote high scores. This was the most exciting
event of the year that I put together. It wasn’t your typical pep rally because
the prizes were so great. Some students won a chance to meet top selling boy
group Day 26 while other students won tickets to see a huge concert featuring
singer Keri Hilson. Quick Silva and Angie have always been supportive of me and
Coolidge and I thank them.
Goals: For
the future I would also plan for teachers to get involved in the pep rally(a
song and dance). The more people in attendance the
better.

day, I was in charge of the Music and Arts room
Reflection:
I
was able to bring 3 of my good friends to Coolidge to help and give insight of
the music and arts world. Lance Wigs-Artist, Dre Hopson-Producer, Raheem
Devaughn-Singer/song writter. This was an amazing successful career day. The
students review was extremely grateful.
Goals: Would like to bring more adults from other fields outside of The Arts in the future.
